Roads in Didcot

It's not the pavements that need resurfacing it's the roads, the last time any major road surfacing was completed in Didcot was 1979, Why don't they use a Road roller anymore? The paths on park road are useless obvious the tarmac gang were novices. Most of the manhole covers have had their edges tarmaced over, obviously the page was missing from the Readers Digest "Guide to Road Mending" that they were using.
