Just what that end of the Town needs. I think its fantastic. The Residents in that area already live near several established restaurants and takeaways, it is not a completely quiet area at present.

I live in Park Road near the Oak. When I moved here, the pub was a sleepy old quiet place and is now the busiest in Didcot. We get alot of noise from the customers leaving the Pub and sometimes it gets really annoying but at the end of the day, we moved to the house knowing that there was a Pub within a stones throw. The residents who live near the Town centre moved there knowing it was a town centre and contained late night eating venues etc. Please dont complain when a new late night venue wishes to open.

Good luck to the developers, I hope they listen to all the views. Maybe we could allow the building to rot and in turn all the other shops surrounding it will close due to everyone staying down the other end of the Broadway!
